The application captures each phase, giving the user the position and relative distance from the beginning and end of each phase. Each stage has a description of the stage and a live Google map that gives user instructions directly to the stage of interest. With the app, you can follow the riders and the stages throughout the tour and throughout France. Note: the parts of the event take place in Switzerland and Andorra. You have all the events, descriptions, schedules and location on the mobile device. There are two days of rest, and two time trials. About the race: The Tour de France is a multi-stage annual cycle race that is held mainly in France, while occasionally even making passes through neighboring countries. The race was first organized in 1903 to increase paper sales for L'Auto magazine; is currently managed by the Amaury Sport Organization. The race takes place every year since its first edition in 1903, except when it was stopped for the two world wars. As the tour gained importance and the popularity of the race was lengthened and its reach began to extend worldwide. Participation expanded by a predominantly French field, as pilots from all over the world began to participate in the race each year. The Tour is a UCI World Tour event, which means that the teams competing in the race are mostly WorldTeams UCI, with the exception of the teams that the organizers invite.
